Cake Magic ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We collect the following information when you use the Cake Magic app:
- Photos you upload: Images of cakes you submit for processing. These are sent to our AI processing service to generate the enhanced photo.
- Account information: An anonymous account identifier created when you first use the app. We do not require your name or email address to use Cake Magic.
- Usage data: Information about how you use the app, including which backgrounds you select and how many generations you have used.
- Credit balance: The number of processing credits remaining on your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process your cake photos and return an enhanced image to you.
- To manage your account and credit balance.
- To improve the quality and accuracy of our AI processing.
- To prevent abuse and ensure fair use of our service.
3. Photo Processing and Third-Party AI Services
Photos you upload are sent to third-party AI providers to perform the image enhancement. These providers process your images under their own privacy policies:
- Black Forest Labs — AI image generation (bfl.ml)
We do not sell your photos or use them for advertising. Photos are processed to generate your result and are not stored longer than necessary to complete that task.
4. Data Storage
Account data (your anonymous ID and credit balance) is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Processed images are temporarily stored to allow you to download your result and are not retained indefinitely.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Cake Magic (listed above) and only to the extent required to provide the service.
6. Children's Privacy
Cake Magic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Opt out of any non-essential data collection

8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and secure storage for data at rest.
